Badya 6 October is an agricultural and industrial city located about 30 kilometers west of Cairo, Egypt, in the Giza Governorate. It is situated on the eastern bank of the Nile River and surrounded by a number of important agricultural areas such as El Faiyum and El Wadi El Natron.

The city was founded in 2000 and is considered to be the first of its kind in the region. It covers an area of 1,000 hectares and is primarily an industrial hub, providing employment opportunities with many international companies including Unilever, Samsung and Nestlé having a presence in Badya.

The most popular tourist attraction in Badya is the ruins of an old Roman temple which dates back to the 4th century AD. The temple originally served as the city's spiritual center and was dedicated to the goddess Isis. Today, the ruins remain and are open to visitors who come to explore.

The city is also known for its desert landscape, featuring a variety of sand dunes and rugged hills. These provide a great opportunity for photographers and nature lovers to take in the stunning scenery of the area.

Badya 6 October is well-connected to Cairo through a network of buses and taxis.
